Joy Baglio's short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Tin House, The Iowa Review, New Ohio Review, PANK, Tin House online, and elsewhere. Recently, she was runner-up in Ploughshares' Emerging Writers Contest, the recipient of a grant from The Speculative Literature Foundation, as well as a finalist for fellowships from Smokelong Quarterly, Tin House, and Bread Loaf. She holds an MFA from The New School and is the founder and director of Pioneer Valley Writers' Workshop in Northampton MA, where she lives, writes, and teaches.
