Here are several free literary events coming up this week:
An evening of spoken word performances, This Much Is True, tonight at the Hopleaf at 5148 N. Clark Street. This monthly gathering is marked by great beers on tap and a fun atmosphere.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to read, Stories at the Store is soliciting submissions for their January 26 event to be held at The Store on Halsted Street, another monthly happening. Submit to Megan at email@example.com. We’re fortunate to have a number of storytelling events in Chicago and I’ll mention more of them in coming weeks.
