Marisa Celina Tirado (she/her) is a Chicanx and Latinx-Indigenous poet from Chicago with roots in New Mexico. Currently an MFA student at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she has received fellowships from Image Journal and Kenyon Review. Marisa recently started an international collective of BIPOC activist poets called Protest Through Poetry (@protesthrupoetry).
