Patrick Somerville

Patrick Somerville is the author of a collection of stories, Trouble, and a novel, The Cradle. His writing has appeared in One StoryEpochGQEsquire, and Best American Nonrequired Reading. He has taught creative writing and English at Cornell, Auburn State Correctional Facility, and The University of Chicago's Graham School. This spring he will be Northwestern's Simon Blattner Visiting Assistant Professor of Creative Writing. He earned his MFA from Cornell University.
