Rebecca Nakaba

Rebecca Nakaba is a writer and artist living in Chicago. She uses the biological and cosmological to show that the boundaries between the body and self, and the natural and supernatural worlds, are thin and flexible. Her work has appeared in Hippocampus, The Meekling Review, and Ghost Proposal, and has been exhibited at Heaven Gallery, the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and the Sullivan Galleries. She’s received fellowships from Vermont Studio Center, the Japan America Society of Chicago, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
