Scott Blackwood

Scott Blackwood is the author or three books of fiction, the novels See How Small and We Agreed to Meet Just Here, and a story collection, In the Shadow of Our House. He's also the recipient of a 2011 Whiting Award for fiction. His two narrative nonfiction books, The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records, Volumes One and Two, tell the curious tale of a white-owned “Race record” label that began in a Wisconsin chair factory and changed American popular music forever. He's been nominated for a 2015 Grammy Award for the first volume.
