Moon Zaman

Moon is a queer writer, scholar, and current student at Harvard Medical School, where he is obtaining an M.S. in Medicine, Media, and Health. His upcoming research focus at HMS centers around body perception and body image in BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. He is passionate about writing across genres, highlighting intersectional identities, and creating safe spaces for marginalized peoples. As an undergraduate student, Moon published several articles and poems for the University of Virginia's Iris Magazine, the UVA Women's Center's Blog, and Medium. He has a self-published anthology titled "Colored and Queer" that is in the process of developing into E-book. He’s an avid reader, curious poet, and lover of all things spicy. He currently works as a freelance journalist. "The Memory Cone" at TriQuarterly is his first essay publication.
